R.E. and Worship  

We reflect the, broadly Christian, nature of our society, but we try to provide a wider vision.  The major Christian festivals are celebrated and studied, as are the main festivals of many religions.  Our work in assembly aims to help the children develop their own personal values and moral codes by providing opportunities for discussion and reflection and a time to worship.  All pupils take part in our assemblies and R.E. lessons unless parents withdraw their child from these on religious grounds, which they may do by contacting the Headteacher.
